Self-Esteem & Identity

What Is Self-Esteem & Identity?

Self-esteem is how you see and value yourself — your sense of confidence, worth, and belonging. Identity is about understanding who you are: your values, roles, cultural background, and life direction.

It’s normal to question your identity and self-worth, especially during life transitions like starting a new job, moving to a different country, entering a relationship, or experiencing cultural change. But when negative self-beliefs or confusion about identity start impacting your confidence and relationships, therapy can help you rebuild a stronger, more grounded sense of self.
