About Me

Hi, I’m Jack, a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s in Family Counselling and Family Education and a Bachelor’s in Social Work. I bring over 10 years of professional experience supporting adults, families, and newcomers through life’s challenges, including 9 years in frontline community services and 5 years in supervisory and service management roles.

I have worked across both Canada and Hong Kong, with extensive experience in frontline support, clinical services, and leadership. My roles have included Newcomer Services Supervisor in Canada, frontline mental health support in Toronto community services, and leadership positions in Hong Kong including Family and Child Services Supervisor and Community Development Service Manager. I am also a certified Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) trainer, equipping individuals and communities with skills to respond to crisis situations.

I integrate Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Care to create a safe, culturally responsive space for growth. I specialize in supporting newcomers’ adjustment, anxiety and emotional distress, addiction, relationship challenges, trauma, and personal growth. I believe each person’s story holds strength, and through therapy, we can rediscover resilience and build meaningful change.

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, I work with diverse communities with empathy and cultural understanding. Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring nature and sketching landscapes, which bring reflection and balance into my work. Let’s walk this journey together.
