About Me
Hello, I am Eppie, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am delighted to be part of the MindVoice team, offering a warm and professional space for you to navigate life’s challenges.
I believe that every person has an innate capacity to help themselves and achieve self-actualization when provided with a safe, non-judgmental environment. To facilitate this growth, I focus heavily on Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). This approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy by focusing on the "experiential" and "dynamic" aspects of healing—we work together in the present moment to process deep emotions and trauma, helping you uncover the resilience and strength that may currently feel out of reach. It is about walking with you as you recognize your own worth and "open a new chapter" in your life.
With over 20 years of experience in school settings, I have spent two decades walking alongside children, youth, and their families. I am particularly dedicated to supporting parents who feel they are struggling with parenting or marriage issues, providing a steady hand through these complex transitions.
In my private practice in my hometown, Hong Kong, I support clients facing intense life stressors, including emotional separation and the passing of loved ones. Additionally, I had partnered with several NGOs to provide specialized counseling for disaster survivors, families with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children, and individuals navigating mental health issues.
Guided by a Rogerian foundation, I integrate AEDP, EMDR, and Mindfulness to provide a compassionate and effective therapeutic experience. Whether you are dealing with trauma, relationship struggles, or daily stress, I am here to offer the professional expertise and heartfelt support you need to heal and thrive.
