About Me

Hello, I'm Wai, a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist providing therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

I support adults experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, workplace challenges, depression, and life transitions. I also provide treatment for workplace-related psychological injuries through the WSIB Mental Health Program of Care.

My work is grounded in a holistic understanding of mental health. I believe our thoughts, emotions, body, and nervous system are deeply interconnected. When we experience stress or trauma, the impact is often felt not only in our minds, but also in our bodies, relationships, and daily lives. Healing involves more than learning coping skills—it is about reconnecting with ourselves, understanding our experiences, and restoring balance and resilience.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel understood and supported in their healing journey.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy coffee and tea, reading, café-hopping and spending time in nature—simple moments that remind me of the importance of slowing down, connecting, and caring for our well-being.
